Methods to Prevent Insulated Pull Rod Fracture in Vacuum Circuit Breakers
2025-11-17 11:20:02

To effectively prevent the insulated pull rod of a vacuum circuit breaker from breaking, regular inspection and maintenance are essential. During inspections, pay close attention to the insulation material of the pull rod and check for signs of wear, aging, or degradation. Maintaining appropriate environmental humidity and temperature can also reduce the deterioration of insulation materials.

In addition, ensure the installation is stable and avoid mechanical vibrations that may affect the pull rod. Properly adjusting the operating load and preventing overload conditions can further extend the pull rod’s service life. During daily operation, be alert to abnormal noises or vibrations, as these may indicate potential issues—prompt action can significantly reduce the risk of failure.

Finally, follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule, and adhere to routine inspection and cleaning practices to keep the equipment in optimal working condition.
