The asynchronous operation of grounding switches is a common issue in Power Systems, typically manifested as the failure of opening and closing actions to occur simultaneously. This phenomenon is usually closely related to the design of electrical equipment, its operating conditions, and the reliability of the control system. On one hand, it may be caused by signal delays or improper execution within the control circuit; on the other hand, contact wear or poor wire connections can also affect the proper functioning of the switch.
To address this problem, it is necessary to inspect the control logic of the grounding switch to ensure accurate signal transmission, and to carry out regular maintenance of the mechanical components to minimize asynchrony caused by physical faults. In addition, periodic testing and evaluation can effectively enhance the system’s ability to detect issues at an early stage.
